System administrator of team 2 (DSIMB)
IT correspondent to the INSERM IT Department (DSI) for unit U1134.
I am only responsible for network issues (Ethernet, WiFi, mailing lists) as well as the management and maintenance of elements that I have implemented in the unit (shared file server ATLAS). For any other questions regarding, for example, emails, Windows/macOS, Cortex antivirus, Microsoft Teams, etc., please contact the INSERM support directly, which is dedicated to this. Their contact is below.
To obtain an INSERM email address, you must fill out a registration form at this address:
INSERM Email Address Request Form
To be added to the internal mailing lists, your supervisor must send me an email with the lists to which you should be subscribed. Here is the exhaustive list of mailing lists within the unit:
To connect your computer to the wired network or access the WiFi (“inserm” or “inserm-guest”)
please fill out and return to me the following Excel file:
📁 fiche_nouvelle_declaration_pc_ou_wifi.xlsx
as well as the completed and signed INSERM IT charter:
📁 charte_de_l’utilisateur_des_ressources_informatiques_de_l’inserm_vu_dgd-a.pdf
The “inserm” WiFi network has special rules allowing you to access ATLAS even over WiFi.
This is not the case with “EDUROAM”.
Follow the instructions available on our wiki to configure your EDUROAM access:
EDUROAM Instructions
Access to the ATLAS server requires your supervisor to send an email with the list of folders you need access to.
You can find the list of available directories here:
List of Available Directories on ATLAS
The VPN allows you to access ATLAS when you are not at the laboratory.
To be able to use it, a personal VPN request is necessary.
Follow the instructions here:
