¶ How to connect to the “inserm” WiFi?
Simply use your INSERM credentials:
Login = full INSERM email address
Password = the one associated with your INSERM account (the one you use for mail.inserm.fr)
The computer will ask you to accept the certificate (only needs to be done once), click OK, and you are now connected.
¶ How to connect to the “inserm-guest” WiFi?
Ask Gabriel Cretin (gabriel.cretin@inserm.fr) to create an account for you to connect to the inserm-guest WiFi network.
The accounts are only active for a maximum of 5 days. After 5 days, the account needs to be manually extended.
Prefer EDUROAM for academic staff who need long-term access.
¶ How to connect to EDUROAM?

EDUROAM is an academic internet network. Anyone with an academic email address should be able to access it.
¶ Windows and macOS
To access Eduroam, you must first install a certificate on your computer.
- Go to cat.eduroam.org
- Click on “Download your Eduroam installer”
- Select your institution (INSERM, Université Paris Cité, or others)
- Download the application
- Install the profile
- Accept the certification authority
- Authenticate with your identifier:
INSERM: email (firstname.lastname@inserm.fr) + password
UPCité: username (firstname.lastname) + password
Once these settings are configured, your device will automatically connect to Eduroam.
¶ Phone (Android and Apple)
- Download the geteduroam app
- Search for and click on “INSERM” or “Université Paris Cité” in the app’s search bar
- Enter your credentials
And that’s it, EDUROAM is now configured and will connect automatically.
